Ananke Krishnan

Ananke currently attends West Valley College as a high school junior. When she was 8 years, she began learning violin with Dr. Chag-Hee Lee, who inspired Ananke through her patience and gentle nature. As a result of this positive start, Ananke strongly believes that children need a nurturing and non competitive atmosphere in order to develop as musicians. For 9 years now, Ananke has been playing in local youth orchestras such as the Moreland Elementary district orchestra, EDS Middle school orchestra, San Jose Youth Symphony and the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Ananke believes that music is a powerful tool that can bring people together, and she loves watching students grow into confident musicians.
